Lamb Of God Announce New Album ‘Into Oblivion’ & Share Music Video
The titans of Richmond, Virginia metal, Lamb Of God, have officially confirmed a 13 March release date for their highly anticipated new album, Into Oblivion. Released via Epic, the record marks the band’s first full-length studio offering in four years.
Across the 10-track collection, Lamb Of God appear to be embracing their status as modern metal veterans. The album reportedly balances a return to their raw roots with the signature groove that defined their career, resulting in a sound that feels both intentional and creatively liberated.

To celebrate the announcement, the band has unleashed the album’s title track alongside a cinematic music video directed by Tom Flynn and Mike Watts. The track is a ferocious blend of musical aggression and the kind of psychologically charged lyrics fans have come to expect from the quintet.
Guitarist Mark Morton explained the creative mindset behind the new material:
“For me, the album is about having the space to breathe creatively and not feeling like we have to keep up with any trend or expectation. It feels nice to be untethered from any agenda beyond rallying around the notion of, ‘Let’s just make music that we think is cool’.”
Vocalist Randy Blythe offered a more sobering perspective on the album’s title, noting that it reflects the “rapid breakdown of the social contract” in modern society.

Recording and Production
The album was produced and mixed by the band’s long-term collaborator Josh Wilbur. In a nod to their identity, the recording took place across several meaningful locations: drums were tracked in their hometown of Richmond, while Blythe recorded his vocals at the legendary Total Access studio in California—the site of seminal punk recordings by Black Flag and Descendents.
Into Oblivion follows the successful release of recent singles ‘Sepsis’ and ‘Parasocial Christ’, both of which feature on the new record.
