Iron Maiden Unveils ‘Eddfest’: A Spectacular 50th Anniversary Weekend at Knebworth

Following the massive announcement of their only UK show for 2026, Iron Maiden have finally revealed the full details of what fans can expect at Knebworth Park on 11 July. The legendary heavy metal pioneers are transforming the iconic grounds into ‘Eddfest’—a curated, 48-hour immersive “Maiden World” designed to celebrate the band’s 50-year legacy.

Welcome to Maidenville and the Infinite Dreams Museum

Eddfest is more than just a concert; it is a full-scale festival experience. At the heart of the site lies Maidenville, home to the largest Eddie’s Dive Bar ever constructed. Fans can also explore the Unfair Funfair, featuring Eddie-themed rides and games, or shop for exclusive gear at Eddie’s Emporium.

A major highlight of the weekend is the Infinite Dreams Museum Experience. This walk-through display features an unprecedented collection of stage props and relics from the band’s personal archives, inspired by the Sunday Times bestseller Infinite Dreams. It offers fans a rare, up-close look at the history of one of the world’s most influential bands.

A Weekend of Pure Heavy Metal

The festivities kick off at 2 p.m. on Friday, with camping and motorhome options available for those looking to stay for the full duration. Friday night at the Maidenville stage will feature a line-up of artists with deep connections to the Maiden family, including:

  • Stray
  • Maiden United
  • Airforce
  • Tony Moore’s Awake
  • Hair Metal Glamageddon

The Main Stage: ‘Run For Your Lives’

On Saturday, the Main Arena opens to host a powerhouse line-up of special guests before Iron Maiden takes the stage for their historic “Run For Your Lives” performance. The Saturday bill includes:

  • The Almighty
  • Airbourne
  • The Hu
  • The Darkness

This event marks the band’s final UK appearance until at least 2028, making it an unmissable milestone for the “Maiden gang.”

“We chose Knebworth Park as it gives us the space required to put together something groundbreaking,” says manager Rod Smallwood. “Eddfest is going to create unbeatable Maiden memories and celebrate the true camaraderie of our fans.”
